CFASF's Civic Engagement Committee organizes opportunities for members to volunteer with worthy charitable organizations in Northern California. For the holidays, they have organized CFASF at the SF-Marin Foodbank.  This is a great opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to those in need, be with CFASF colleagues, and is a chance to include your family in the evening- children 11 years and older are welcome. Volunteers at the Food Bank help sort and package food to be distributed to food pantries, children's snack programs, and soup kitchens throughout San Francisco and Marin — enough for more than 100,000 meals each day for those in need. Registration is necessary as our group size is limited.

Volunteers must wear closed-toe shoes to participate in warehouse projects — no sandals, flip-flops or opened-toe shoes. We ask that you dress comfortably and respectfully. A sweatshirt or extra layer is recommended, as the temperature in our warehouse is often quite cool.
