2020 Annual Investment Dinner

Registration is now open for the 2020 Annual Investment Dinner at the Westin St. Francis. This annual gala attracts over 500 Bay Area investment industry professionals to share in an evening of good cheer and great discussion centered on several important issues facing the world of finance. Guests will enjoy cocktails, a delicious meal, vast networking opportunities, and engaging content from prominent speakers centered in San Francisco.



David Kelly, PhD, CFA, Chief Global Strategist, J.P. Morgan Asset Management

Dr. David Kelly is the Chief Global Strategist and Head of the Global Market Insights Strategy Team for J.P. Morgan Asset Management. With over 20 years of experience, Dr. Kelly provides valuable insight and perspective on the economy and markets to the institutional investor and financial advisor global communities. Throughout his career, he has developed a unique ability to explain complex economic and market issues in a language that financial professionals can use to communicate to their clients. He is a keynote speaker at many national investment conferences and a frequent guest on CNBC, Bloomberg, and other financial media outlets. Prior to joining J.P. Morgan Asset Management, Dr. Kelly served as Economic Advisor to Putnam Investments. He has also served as a senior strategist/economist at SPP Investment Management, Primark Decision Economics, Lehman Brothers and DRI/McGraw-Hill. Dr. Kelly is a CFA charterholder. He also has a PhD and MA in Economics from Michigan State University and a BA in Economics from University College Dublin in the Republic of Ireland.


Rosie Rios, CEO, Red River Associates; 43rd US Treasurer

Rosie Rios was the 43rd Treasurer of the United States. In her role as Treasurer, Ms. Rios oversaw the Bureau of Engraving and Printing and the U.S. Mint, including Fort Knox. Her signature currently appears on a world-record $1.69 trillion of the $1,71 trillion in circulation worldwide. Rosie was the longest serving Senate-confirmed Treasury official beginning with her time on the Treasury/Federal Reserve Transition Team in November 2008 at the height of the financial crisis. She initiated and led efforts to place a portrait of a woman on the front of U.S. currency for the first time in over a century. In 2016, she received the Hamilton Award, the highest honor bestowed in the U.S. Department of the Treasury. Ms. Rios recently completed her term as a Visiting Scholar at the Radcliffe Institute for Advanced Study at Harvard University. She is a graduate of Harvard University and was selected as the first Latina in Harvard’s 383-year history to have a portrait commissioned in her honor. She currently serves on the board of Fidelity Charitable Trust, the Schlesinger Council at Harvard and the Advisory Committee for Artemis Real Estate Partners and was previously a Trustee with the Alameda County Employees Retirement Association (ACERA). Most recently, Ms. Rios was appointed as a member of America 250, a Congressional Commission to commemorate the 250th anniversary of the nation’s founding in 2026. Her personal passion includes EMPOWERMENT 2020, an initiative that facilitates the physical recognition of historical American women.  She remains active in real estate finance and is consulting on several transformational projects in the Bay Area under her “RESCUE” initiative: Real Estate for Socially Conscious Urban Empowerment.
