Jacques Chappuis, Global Head of Distribution and Co-Head of the Solutions and Multi-Asset Group, Morgan Stanley Investment Management

Jacques Chappuis is the Global Head of Distribution and Co-Head of the Solutions and Multi-Asset Group at Morgan Stanley Investment Management. He is a member of the Morgan Stanley Management Committee and of the Investment Management Operating Committee. Before returning to Morgan Stanley in 2016, Jacques was the Head of Investment Solutions at The Carlyle Group. Prior to joining Morgan Stanley, Jacques was Head of Alternative Investments for Citigroup's Global Wealth Management Group and before that a managing director at Citigroup Alternative Investments, the firm’s proprietary alternative investment unit. Jacques received a B.A. in finance from Tulane University and an M.B.A., with honors, from Columbia Business School. He is also a member of the New York Board of Advisors of Teach For America.

 

Sema R. Hingoranie, Managing Director, Morgan Stanley Investment Management

Sema R. Hingoranie is a Managing Director at Morgan Stanley Investment Management focused on investment talent development, client relationships and diversity initiatives. She joined Morgan Stanley in 2019 and has 25 years of investment experience. Seema is also the Founder and Chair of Girls Who Invest, a nonprofit organization dedicated to increasing the number of women in portfolio management and leadership in the asset management industry. Previously, Seema was the Founder and Chief Investment Officer of SevenStep Capital, an opportunistic investment platform focused on seeding women portfolio managers. She was also a Senior Advisor at Crestview Partners and an Advisory Group member at Walter Scott & Partners Limited. 

Prior to Seema’s four years of public sector experience, she served as Global Director of Fundamental Research at Pyramis Global Advisors; a Partner, Portfolio Manager and Senior Equity Analyst with hedge fund Andor Capital Management; a Partner and Senior Equity Analyst at hedge fund Pequot Capital Management; Co-founder of hedge fund Mirador Capital Management; and an Equity Analyst with T. Rowe Price. Seema earned a B.A. in psychology/philosophy from Yale College and a M.B.A. in finance from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.

 

Neha Markle, Managing Director, Morgan Stanley Investment Management 

Neha Markle is a portfolio manager on the AIP Private Markets team and has 19 years of industry experience. Prior to joining the firm, Neha worked at Pomona Capital, managing secondary and primary interests in venture capital and buyout funds, and Apax Partners, a leading global private equity firm. Previously, she served on the management team at Springboard Enterprises, a non-profit organization focused on venture capital, and as an analyst at Morgan Stanley. Neha received a B.S. magna cum laude in economics from the University of Pennsylvania and an M.B.A. with honors from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
