Please join Timothy Koller of McKinsey & Company and Keith Black, PhD, CFA, CAIA, FDP of CAIA Association as they discuss the history and evolution of corporate valuation.

Join us for an exclusive free webcast co-hosted by McKinsey & Company. In their 2020 edition of Valuation: Measuring and Managing the Value of Companies, McKinsey & Co. provides new insights on corporate valuation such as the impact of digital valuation techniques, ESG issues, and long-term investing. In this one-hour discussion, we will not only discuss the history and evolution of corporate valuation, but also place particular emphasis on these topics and the impact on private markets investing today.

Timothy Koller, Partner, McKinsey & Company

Timothy Koller is a partner in McKinsey’s Stamford, Connecticut office, where he is a leader and founding member of the Strategy and Corporate Finance practice. In his 33 years of consulting, Tim has served clients globally on value creation, corporate strategy, capital markets issues, M&A transactions and planning and resource allocation. Tim is the lead author of Valuation: Measuring and Managing the Value of Companies. 800,000 copies have sold, and a 7th edition has just been published. The book is used as a textbook at top business schools. Tim founded and is a leader of a group of expert corporate finance consultants. He has written more than 100 articles on a range of finance topics, including articles for the Harvard Business Review and the Strategic Management Review.

Keith Black, PhD, CFA, CAIA, FDP, Managing Director, Content Strategy, CAIA Association

Keith Black has over thirty years of financial market experience, serving approximately half of that time as an academic and half as a trader and consultant to institutional investors. He currently serves as Managing Director of Content Strategy for the CAIA Association. During his most recent role at Ennis Knupp + Associates, Keith advised foundations, endowments and pension funds on their asset allocation and manager selection strategies in hedge funds, commodities, and managed futures. Prior experience includes commodities derivatives trading, stock options research and CBOE floor trading, and building quantitative stock selection models for mutual funds and hedge funds. Dr. Black previously served as an assistant professor and senior lecturer at the Illinois Institute of Technology. Dr. Black earned a BA from Whittier College, an MBA from Carnegie Mellon University, and a PhD from the Illinois Institute of Technology.
