(June 4, 2016 Exam)

The Level III exam consists of item set and constructed response (essay) questions:

  • Morning session: Constructed response (essay) questions (usually between 8 and 12 questions, each with several subparts) with a maximum of 180 points. (The point value for each question is provided in the exam book.)
  • Afternoon session: 10 item set questions

CFASF Review instructors put together their own Study Session Notes and construct multiple-choice questions from the important learning outcomes in each session. Our instructors are experts on the material and how it can be asked, making our CFA® exam prep the most comprehensive available.

CFASF offers a multi-week CFA® exam prep course, which provides candidates with a structured, classroom-based approach to preparing for the CFA® examination. The focus is on the comprehension of the assigned materials in the Study Guides from CFA Institute, with an emphasis on the Learning Outcome Statements (LOS). In addition, problem solving and practical exam taking tips are incorporated into the program. Our "CFASF Review Notes," included with the course, are keyed to the learning outcome statements developed by CFA Institute and serve as an excellent tool for final preparation. The best study material to prepare for the exam is the CFA Institute-provided curriculum combined with the PDF files our instructors provide for each of our classes; these PDF files are not available to anyone except those candidates who take our review classes.

Candidates in the Exam Review program are eligible to attend CFASF General Events at student prices (the same as member rates) for one year from registration.  A great opportunity attend to Corporate Presentations, Professional Development Programs or Social Events for free or reduced prices. This benefit does not apply to Member-only events, nor does it confer membership status on candidates; only the right to attend events at member prices for one year.
