Speakers 

Rolf Agather – Managing Director, Research & Innovation, FTSE Russell-

Rolf Agather is the managing director of research and innovation for Russell Investments’ family of global indexes, which offer an objective and transparent way to accurately measure distinct segments of the global market. Approximately 10,000 companies, or 98 percent of companies globally, find their place in this benchmark. In this role, Rolf is responsible for creating new index concepts and publishing compelling research on capital markets, indexation, and investment management. 

Rolf has been involved with the Russell Indexes in a number of roles during his career at Russell. He served as product manager from 1993 to 1995 and was the manager of the Russell index operations group from 1989 to 1991.

In addition to his Russell experience, Rolf was a vice president and director of the portfolio products business at FactSet Research systems in Greenwich, Connecticut. He was responsible for the development of FactSet’s entire suite of portfolio management products, including the portfolio analysis and SPAR (style, performance, and risk) applications.

 

 

Arne Noack – Head of US ETF Product Development, Deutsche Asset Management- 

Arne is currently Director in the Exchange Traded Product Development team for Deutsche Asset Management, Passive in the Americas. Prior to joining the team in New York, Arne was the Head of Exchange Traded Product Development for EMEA based in London. When joining the Company in 2007, Arne was responsible for providing non-listed structured funds solutions for both institutional and private client distribution throughout Europe as well as a member of the ETF structuring team for db X-trackers. Arne holds a degree in Economics from Westfälische Wilhelms-Universität Münster, Germany.  

 

Jack Fowler – Vice President, Global Client Group, Deutsche Asset Management-

Jack Fowler is a Vice President, within the Global Client Group at Deutsche Asset Management working with institutions and advisors throughout the Northwest. Before joining Deutsche Jack spent the last five years with BlackRock most recently covering institutional clients in the UK. He was previously a lead associate at Bernstein Global Wealth Management working with teams that managed over $2 billion in assets under management. He began his career working with high net worth clients as a Financial Advisor with Morgan Stanley in San Francisco. Jack holds the Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA) certification, administered by the Investment Management Consultants Association and taught in conjunction with The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. He graduated with a BA in Economics from the University of Arizona.
