What Makes A Leader: Why Emotional Intelligence Matters

By Daniel Goleman

Book Club, hosted by CFA San Francisco’s Women’s Initiative Network

Most investment professionals read plenty about investments.  But we in the investment field are affected by developments in the social sciences, natural sciences, current affairs, the humanities, and history as much as we are by the markets themselves.  The purpose of the new CFASF Book Club is to have fun!  This will be a group for which learning and fun are more or less the same.  With book selections and complementary articles selected and curated by our members, this social group will meet after markets close to explore ideas and discuss a variety of topics.  Most commonly hosted at the CFASF offices, anyone participating in this drop-in, casual gathering is welcome to suggest a book, this month Margaret from CFA San Francisco’s Women’s Initiative Network will lead the discussion.

The dial in line will be open, once again for those unable to get into the CFASF offices: Dial In: (877) 319-9480, Meeting ID: 33
