Supermind: Genius Training

Ask your friends the question: “What is intelligence?” You’ll get a dozen different answers (from high IQ and streets smarts to emotional intelligence). In reality, intelligence is a collection of skill sets that can be trained. We'll briefly explore a 2000-year overview on the topic, then engage practical methods to sharpen our intelligence for any thought-driven task. Specifically we’ll focus on techniques to improve insight and vision, idea acquisition, speed and truth of thinking. We’ll also touch on why intelligence adds meaning to our lives and draw some distinctions with AI.
