Ben Barber is the senior vice president and director of Franklin Templeton Fixed Income – Municipal Bonds in San Mateo, CA, United States. Mr. Barber is the head of Municipal Bonds at Franklin Templeton and is a portfolio manager for all national municipal strategies.
Mr. Barber has over 29 years of experience in financial services. He is also a member of Franklin Templeton’s management committee. Prior to his current role, Mr. Barber was the co-head of Municipal Bonds at Goldman Sachs Asset Management. He also was previously with Franklin Templeton Fixed Income – Municipal Bonds in 1991 as portfolio manager and research analyst.
Mr. Barber holds a bachelor of arts in political science (with emphasis in international relations) from University of California at Santa Barbara. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder and member of the National Federation of Municipal Analysts and California Society of Municipal Analysts.

Bill Cass joined Franklin Templeton in 2024 as the director of wealth planning after serving in a similar role with Putnam Investments for many years. He oversees the development and delivery of financial planning-related educational programs and speaks regularly throughout the country to groups of financial advisors and investors on a wide range of planning topics. His expertise spans sustainable retirement income strategies, taxes, estate planning and wealth transfer, college savings and Washington, DC, policy. He has been in the investment industry since he joined Putnam in 1990.
Bill holds a bachelor’s degree in economics and political science from Tufts University and is a Certified Financial Planner™ professional as well as a Certified Private Wealth Advisor® professional. He holds Series 6, 7, 26 and 63 licenses with FINRA.
Outside of work, Bill enjoys spending time with family and playing sports.

Mr. Fischer serves as senior vice president – divisional sales manager leading a team of market leaders who represent Franklin Templeton’s broad investment solutions and practice management resources to financial advisors throughout the Midwest Region.
Mr. Fischer helps drive producer and sales growth while educating the team on how best to serve financial advisors and their clients. Previously, Mr. Fischer held various roles at Putnam Investments after joining in 2011. He has been in the investment industry since 2004 and holds a B.A. in economics from the University of Michigan, as well as Series 7, 24, 31 and 66 licenses with FINRA.

Ehren is the chief investment strategist and co-head of investments at O’Shaughnessy Asset Management. Having joined the firm in 2010, he leads the portfolio management team’s asset allocation, portfolio construction and tax management efforts on O’Shaughnessy’s Canvas custom indexing platform. Ehren has authored numerous white papers on topics ranging from portfolio construction, non-US stock selection, global dividends, the relationship between macroeconomic indicators and equity factors, and the firm’s quarterly commentaries since 2012. He is a CFA charterholder and member of the CFA Society New York.
