Event Details

We invite all members of the investment community to join us at this year's Society Golf Tournament & Reception! Spend a beautiful afternoon with fellow investment professionals and Society members in a picturesque setting.

All skill levels are invited to join us for the tournament. If you'd like to brush up on your golf game, we're offering range practice before tee off.

Seeking to invite clients, colleagues, and/or friends to the tournament? Consider registering as a foursome* and unloack a savings of up to $315 off your registration! Registering as a foursome not only saves money but it also guarantees that you'll play with your selected group.

Not interested in playing? Join us for the social reception after the tournament!

The reception is open to all, regardless of whether you play in the tournament or not. This year, we will be serving up a full BBQ buffet during the reception. Enjoy connecting with your fellow investment professionals over refreshments and delicious bites, overlooking the beautiful Crystal Springs Reservoir.

* No partial refunds offered for Foursome if foursome is left unfulfilled.

  • 18-holes of golf

Tournament Mulligan Rules & Pricing

What is a Mulligan?

A "Mulligan" is a second chance at a shot without a stroke penalty. If you’re unhappy with a shot, you can choose to replay it immediately from the same spot. Your first attempt is ignored for scoring purposes, and you play the better of the two balls.

The Rules of Play

To keep the pace of play moving and ensure a fair competition, please observe the following:

  • One Per Hole: No individual player may use more than one (1) mulligan on any single hole.
  • "Punch to Play": Once you declare a mulligan and take the shot, that "punch" is used on your card—even if your original shot ended up being better. Mark which hole you used your mulligan on your ticket.
  • No Par 3s: Mulligans are not permitted on any Par 3 holes.
  • No Contest Holes: Mulligans cannot be used for specialty contests, including Longest Drive or Closest to the Pin.
  • Use it or Lose it: Unused mulligans do not carry over to future rounds or have any cash value.
Mulligan Pricing
  • Individual Card: $5 (Includes 2 Mulligans per Person)
  • Team Bundle (Pre-Purchase Rate): $15 (Includes 4 Cards—one for each player)
  • Day-of Team Bundle: $20 (Purchased onsite at check-in)

Location Details

Crystal Springs Golf Course, Burlingame

Crystal Springs Golf Course is located directly off I-280 in Hillsborough above the picturesque Crystal Springs Reservoir. The course was designed by legendary course architect, Bill Fowler who designed a number of other golf courses in the United Kingdom and the United States, including Beau Desert Course and in 1922 he redesigned the 18th hole of the Pebble Beach Golf Links.

At 6,628 yards, this par-72 course offers you a true championship test with a slope of 124 from the back tees. But if you play from the middle or forward tees, you’ll find Crystal Springs manageable and enjoyable for all skill levels. Amongst the tests you will face are well-bunkered greens and rolling hillsides that will amaze you with their uneven lies.
