John Ebeling is a director of Artisan Partners and a member of the firm’s Strategic Capital Formation Group. Prior to joining Artisan Partners in August 2025, he was a vice president of business development in US intermediary distribution with Gramercy Funds Management. Before that, Mr. Ebeling served as regional director of field sales and national accounts in US intermediary distribution with Ashmore Investment Management. Earlier in his career, he was an associate in structured products with UBS Financial Services. Mr. Ebeling holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration and finance from the University of Maine.

Carl J. Katerndahl, CAIA, is a director of Artisan Partners with responsibility for distribution and servicing of the strategies managed by the firm’s Credit team. Prior to joining Artisan Partners, Mr. Katerndahl was a managing director and client portfolio manager with Nuveen. Before that, he was a financial representative with Northwestern Mutual. Mr. Katerndahl holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Pepperdine University and a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Southern California Marshall School of Business.

Eric M. Lang, CIMA®, is a managing director of Artisan Partners. He leads the firm’s national intermediary sales organization, overseeing distribution strategy and advisor relationships across the U.S. Prior to joining Artisan Partners in 2011, Mr. Lang held progressively senior sales roles at Federated Investors, most recently as a senior client consultant supporting registered investment advisors, banks, and institutional trust clients. Mr. Lang holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from The Pennsylvania State University.
