Discover why momentum works, how it differs from growth, and how investors can apply it as a durable source of alpha in today’s markets.
Join us for an engaging Lunch and Learn where industry experts from IMC will bring clarity to one of investing’s most persistent market anomalies: the momentum factor. Designed for investors seeking deeper insight without unnecessary complexity, this session will explore why momentum has historically delivered excess returns and how it behaves differently from traditional growth and value strategies.
During the discussion, Mark Osterkamp and Travis Prentice will break down common misconceptions surrounding momentum and explain its dynamic relationship with other styles in a modern, style-conscious portfolio. Through real-world examples and practical discussion, attendees will gain a clearer understanding of how momentum works, why it endures across market cycles, and what differentiates Informed Momentum’s approach from more conventional implementations.
Whether you are an experienced professional or simply looking to expand your investment toolkit, this interactive session will leave you with fresh perspectives and actionable ideas you can apply to today’s evolving markets—all over a thoughtfully curated luncheon in San Francisco.
